Maplewood resident, Stephane Wrembel, stands as one of the world's most esteemed guitarists specializing in the signature style of the legendary composer and guitarist, Django Reinhardt. He is most recognized for his original compositions featured in Woody Allen's acclaimed movies, including "Bistro Fada" from Midnight in Paris and "Big Brother" from Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Since 2003, Wrembel has curated the Django á Gogo Music Festival and Guitar Camp, a celebration of Django Reinhardt's life and music. This annual week-long extravaganza unfolds in Maplewood and culminates with the grand finalé at The Town Hall in NYC. The festival has transcended borders, captivating audiences in Los Angeles, Toronto, Quebec City, Montreal, Rochester, N.Y., and beyond, with sold-out shows and resounding standing ovations.
