Auditions for the Strollers' “How the World Got Wisdom”

Seeking adults, teens, and kids (7 or older) for this fun and creative ensemble show. No experience required. Auditioners should be prepared to tell a fable or folk story of their choice (in animated fashion) or cold read a scene from the show. They may also be asked to sing a simple song and learn a simple dance combo. People with knowledge of African dance styles are especially encouraged to audition.

​We also seek percussion musicians with knowledge of African musical styles to be part of the on-stage band during performances.

Performances (in 2020): Friday, Jan 31 & Feb 7 @ 7:00pm; Saturday, Feb 1 & 8 @ 1:00pm & 3:00pm; Sunday, Feb 2 & 9 @ 1:00pm & 3:00pm

Rehearsals: 2-4 times per week, starting Thursday, Dec 12
Weekday evenings: generally 7-8:30pm; Saturday afternoons: generally 2-4:00pm
(year-end holiday conflicts will be worked around; not everyone will be called for every rehearsal until mid January)
Rehearsals will be held at the Burgdorff or other facilities in the Maplewood area.
