In its twelfth year, Stephane Wrembel’s Django a Gogo guitar festival has established itself as the best touring Django Reinhardt festival in the United States. The festival includes both a week-long intensive guitar camp and a concert series including venues in Manhattan and Maplewood featuring some of the world’s masters of Gypsy Jazz.

Concerts in Maplewood are as follows:

• Wednesday, April 24th, 8 PM, The Woodland. Stephane Wrembel Band: The Django Experiment. From the desert to Debussy, from India to France, experience a thousand years of music history through Django’s musical genius.

• Thursday, April 25th, 8 PM, The Woodland. Simba Baumgartner and Daisy Castro:
  the music of Django Reinhardt. A journey through Django’s music, featuring gypsy guitar genius Simba Baumgartner and violin virtuoso Daisy Castro.

• Friday, April 26th, 8 PM, The Woodland. The Krief Brothers: Django virtuoso. An extraordinary level of virtuosity. The art of the guitar in its supreme form.
