Arlene Stein will be coming to [words] Bookstore in the heart of downtown Maplewood to discuss and sign copies of her book “Unbound: Transgender Men and the Remaking of Identity.” There is no cost to attend and no purchase required. Stein is a professor of sociology at Rutgers University and the director of the Institute for Research on Women. The author of six books, she received the Ruth Benedict Prize for her book The Stranger Next Door. The event will start at 7:30 in the bookstore, with no advance registration required.
