A showcase of the art of some former board members of the 1978 Maplewood Arts Center .They are artists and curators who contributed to the diversity of many acclaimed exhibits. As black artists and curators, they were able to use their connections to bring other black artists - both locally and internationally known- to the 1978 Arts Center to exhibit.  While these former board members continue to  show their own art  in galleries and museums from surrounding communities as well as in other states,  this exhibit in Maplewood is a  tribute to their contribution to diversity and inclusion. 

Participating artists are: Cathy McCoy Bristol,Evelyn Graves, Barry Gray, Mansa Mussa,   Beverly McCutcheon, Onnie Strother, Nette Forné Thomas
