West African Folktale and Storytelling Workshop
Presented by BBIA
The event will promote West African culture through storytelling, West African dance, the teaching of French language, gifting of meaningful African art presents, and we engage the children and parents for an incredibly fun time. Parents and kids will also participate by singing songs in both French and English, answering questions on the folktales, and from a Black History Month trivia. Following the event, everyone is invited to taste African food. Attendees are encouraged to wear African Clothing, and several dressed in their African outfits, are encouraged to mingle, dance, sing French songs, and practice their language skills.
