BERNIE WILLIAMS PERFORMS IN MAPLEWOOD, NJ, OCTOBER 22, 7:30pm
Yankee great, Grammy Nominee, Guitar Virtuoso, Bernie Williams will be performing with fellow Guitarist, and Grammy Nominee, Gil Parris in the Great Hall at the Woodland, Maplewood N.J.
Billed as the Bernie Williams-Gil Parris Quartet, this super group is rounded off with the legendary “World’s Most Dangerous Bassist” Will Lee, and the multitalented Drummer and Vocalist Josh Dion.
The group will be doing a mix of classic songs with creative arrangements, as well as original material. The show is always entertaining, improvisational, and interactive.
A special treat will be provided by The Baker Street Trio, featuring Ace Williams. The high school age Jazz trio well on their way to being accomplished Jazz musicians, met through Jazz House Kids, and have built a reputation for themselves in the area.
Adding to the flavor of the Maplewood event will be guest MC, Maplewood Mayor Frank McGehee.
The event is presented by Smooth Jazz New Jersey, and the Audio upgrade by Live At Nite. The historic Georgian style Mansion and adjoining auditorium completed in 1930, is nestled in Maplewood Village just steps away from the most diverse choices in eating you will find anywhere. With the show right there, Maplewood is the place to be October 22nd for dinner in the village followed by a show experience in the spacious Woodland Great Hall. Parking is free throughout the Village.
