A trove of vintage goods at this one-day-only affair at the historic Woodland

The Maplewood Vintage Show (MVS) — a one-day-only curation of over 20 vintage vendors — comes to Maplewood, New Jersey on Saturday, November 26th. Open to the public, the inaugural show will be held at the historic Woodland at 60 Woodland Rd., located in the town’s bustling village, only 35 minutes by train from New York City.

The MVS celebrates local dealers, designers and artisans, bringing together the very best emerging and established sellers from the tri-state area for an impressive curation of vintage clothing, jewelry, accessories, specialty home goods and art from the 20th century.

Guests can shop small over the holiday weekend, browsing unique and eclectic goods from 10am until 5pm, with an Early Vintage Hour from 10am-11:00am for those who want to get ahead of the crowd. Access to the Early Vintage Hour is made available for $20/individual by pre-booking beginning November 5th here or at the entrance day-of, and after 11am, access is open to the general public.

The MVS is hosted and presented by Emma O’Shea of COLLECTOR and experienced event producer Lori Sutherland, co-creator of PipersTalisman, and in special collaboration with Jenny Turner Hall and Marcy Thompson— the ladies behind local nonprofit Studio B and Bizarre Bazaar. The Show’s top sponsors are Danbrot & Labianca Properties, J'Aime Cohen Creative Group, Maplewood Division of Arts & Culture, Maplewood Mercantile, NJHipsturbia, and Salvage Style, along with numerous, local small business sponsors.

For a bite while shopping, Sandwicheria will be serving Peruvian-style breakfast and lunch in their vintage truck. And beloved vintage soul stylist, AbbyNYC, will be available for complimentary stylings for holiday glamming.

Hosts Emma and Lori remark, “We love how the hunt for vintage combines beauty and originality at accessible prices. And since we are small business owners in our co-op at the Maplewood Mercantile, we wanted to expand this collaborative concept and share it as a day to celebrate the unique, creative and diverse community we live in.”
