CALLING ALL SOMA TALENT - DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS EXTENDED TO SEPT 29TH
SOMA’s GOT CRAZY TALENT will celebrate and enjoy the exceptional talents of our neighbors. But this is not just any open mic night. This is the opportunity for you (and your friends) to bring out your various and incredible talent and show it off at the Loft at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) on a Saturday night in front of a friendly and appreciative audience.
The grand prize winner will take home a $500 Amazon Gift Card.
Second prize is 2 tickets to a SOPAC show plus a $75 certificate to Jackie & Son restaurant.
Third prize is a $50 gift certificate to Sparkhouse Toy store.
We’re putting out a call for people who are Crazy Talented: people who can sing, dance, or play musical instruments like nobody’s business!
AND people who Have A Crazy Talent: Like People who can solve a Rubik’s cube in under two seconds, or juggle knives while riding a unicycle!
Semi-finalists will be chosen, and the SOMA community will vote their favorites, and whittle it down to the top finalists!
The top contestants will perform their talent at SOPAC on Saturday night, October 19, in front of a live audience, including celebrity judges.
PROGRAM RULES
Enter the contest by filling out the online form by submitting your name, email, brief description of your talent and a one-minute (or less) video clip by September 29TH.
Please Note: you must use a hyperlink to a video you have uploaded to Youtube, Vimeo, or Instagram.
Your submission will be featured on SouthNext website and pushed out on social media to solicit votes (and you can share it as well).
Finalists will be notified via email and announced 2-weeks prior to the talent show.
