AJJ Maplewood in collaboration with SOMA Cross Cultural Works is proud to offer our latest Self Defense Seminar in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Month.

These days it seems like we all need to know how to physically defend ourselves and our loved ones. We will always advocate for setting your emotions aside and de-escalating matters with words. We will be learning and practicing techniques for when that de-escalation fails. Get yourself and your family home safe.

We require everyone present to wear facemasks (properly). Touchless hand sanitizer dispenser will be readily available. Safety first. Social distance will be maintained with only exception being members of your own family or pod.

This seminar is intended for adults and will cover adult situations. Teens may register only with a parent or guardian.

We're extremely excited to share techniques that require more knowledge than strength and may save you or someone you love.

This event will be held at American Jiu Jitsu of Maplewood’s the Grassy Knoll (area just to the left outside of our studio) at 530 Valley St, in Maplewood, NJ.
