As part of the Village Sunset Music Series, Motion Arts Dance Studio will be showcasing their Senior dancers this Saturday at 6:00pm.

They'll be opening the last night of the Music Series.

The Motion Arts Performance Company, directed by Alexa Astarita, is a noncompetitive collective of dancers from Motion Arts Dance Studios who are committed to exploring, sharing, and honoring the art of dance. The dancers study ballet and modern as the core of their training, although they are exposed to many different styles and are encouraged to become eclectic and versatile artists. In their performance this weekend the dancers will present several original works, including "Confetti Bliss", choreographed by Amanda Cuoco, "Downpour" and "Dreams from a Distance" choreographed by Alexa Astarita, as well as a premiere piece that displays the dancers' training in compositional and improvisational studies.
