POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 FISHMARKET STEW - VILLAGE SUNSET MUSIC SERIES LATE PERFORMANCE

Despite extensive precautions and a fully vaccinated band, unfortunately, Covid-19 has hit close to home and tonight’s FishMarket Stew show in Maplewood Village will be rescheduled for a later date.

Fishmarket Stew is a band based in Maplewood, New Jersey that only plays
the music performed by the band Phish. Comprised of four SOMA residents:
Eric de Picciotto (guitar), David Diamond (bass), Lev Kuperman (drums), and Dave Shields (keyboards) use the Phish catalogue as a launching pad for their own improvised music.

Village Sunset Music Series - The Baker Street Trio

The Baker Street Trio features three of the most exciting and swinging young jazz musicians in the area. who began playing together through Montclair's Jazz House Kids. The trio was formed in the Fall of 2020 out of these young musicians' love for jazz and the need to be able to play together -- safely, outdoors. They played a standing gig through the Fall and Winter of 2020 on a streetcorner on Baker Street in Maplewood Village, and in doing so, have entertained and brought the joy of jazz to countless appreciative audiences.

Village Sunset Music Series - Rudie Crew

The Rudie Crew began rehearsing Ludlow Street Studios NYC, and knew right from the start that a new and exciting sound had been hatched. The Rudie Crew released its debut album “Invasion” in 2003, and follow up “Ride” in 2005, the title track was used on the TV series “Burn Notice, and “This is Skragga” released in 2011. Since the band formed they have played The East Continuously including The Warp tour and The Montreal Ska festival. The Rudie Crew currently planning to record and release their fourth full-length Album.

Dan Crisci (piano/composer) and Ginny Johnson (vocals/drums/clarinet/composer) are a husband and wife team that has made music together for over 25 years. Dan has been performing in the New York/New Jersey area since 1984. He has performed jazz as a soloist and in various group settings at venues such as Birdland and The Squire in New York City, and Trumpets, The Old Bay, Watchung Arts Center, Van Gogh's Ear, and Shanghai Jazz in New Jersey.

LAREDO are Larry Hardie and Ed Melee on guitars and vocals, and Gary Shippy on drums and vocals. They play a wide ranging variety of rock and roll, folk, blues and country songs. The band often invites musician friends from the Maplewood/South Orange community to play along with them at their shows. Village Sunset Music Series - Honest Wanger

Born in the southeast, bred in New York City, and relished by anyone who's ever taken a second to listen, Honest Wagner's sound can only be described as "Suburban Dad Country Alt Rock." In the Spring of 2021, long-time friends and collaborators, Brooks Wood and Cameron Mitchell, came together to form a new musical venture.
