The Village Sunset Music Series has been conceived to be the background sounds to your outdoor dining experience, in our #pedestrianfriendly Maplewood downtown. The Friday and Saturday music series will feature the talent of locally-grown musicians. Maplewood Division of Arts & Culture in collaboration with Maplewood Village Alliance, are injecting much needed energy and rhtythm to the streets of our artsy town.

Come eat and stroll, while enjoying the performances this week!

The Jazz Birds - 

Jay Dougherty -Vocals 
In addition to singing with The Jazz Birds, Jay is a featured vocalist with SwingTown ,Maplewoods'  20 piece bigband. He is a board member for the New Jersey Jazz Society., and one of the organizers of PorchFest in Maplewood.  

Rich Falcetano - Guitar 
A graduate of Wm. Paterson Music program. Rich is currently performing with various Jazz ensembles in the area. 

Carl Scariarti - Bass
A talented musician who can be found working with Jazz groups in the north Jersey area.

 Gavin Davies -  Drums
Recently retired music teacher from Bayonne, Rich is enjoying  playing more music .
