AAPI '21 Holi Festival -Memorial Park

  • Memorial Park Maplewood, NJ 07040 USA (map)

Join SOMA CCW in partnership with Maplewood township and the Village of South Orange to boisterously celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander heritage month with Holi - the festival of colors.

Holi is an ancient Indian festival which celebrates Spring and New Life, victory of good over evil and above all LOVE in all its forms and expressions.

During the festival, people throw colored powder at each other and participate freely in all the resulting fun and frolic. Traditionally no one is off limits - young or old, rich or poor, man or woman or child.

But in these pandemic times, we will celebrate the festival with caution and social distancing and limited number of attendees. The attendee limit is capped at 200.
Please be sure to read the registration guidelines to understand the rules of participation in the Holi Festival event in 2021
