The Village Sunset Music Series has been conceived to be the background sounds to your outdoor dining experience, in our #pedestrianfriendly Maplewood downtown. The Friday and Saturday music series will feature the talent of locally-grown musicians. Maplewood Division of Arts & Culture in collaboration with Maplewood Village Alliance, are injecting much needed energy and rhtythm to the streets of our artsy town.

Dan Crisci (piano/composer) and Ginny Johnson (vocals/drums/clarinet/composer) are a husband and wife team that has made music together for over 25 years. Dan has been performing in the New York/New Jersey area since 1984. He has performed jazz as a soloist and in various group settings at venues such as Birdland and The Squire in New York City, and Trumpets, The Old Bay, Watchung Arts Center, Van Gogh's Ear, and Shanghai Jazz in New Jersey.
Ginny has been performing as a singer-songwriter, instrumentalist and conductor in and around New Jersey for over 25 years. She has worked as a clarinetist, saxophonist, drummer, pianist and vocalist in a variety of settings including as a long-time member of the Garden State Symphonic Band and fronting her folk-rock band, Mosaic. Since 1995, she has been conductor of the Triad Vocal Ensemble, an adult community choir specializing in accessible contemporary repertoire.
